A quiet space for workshops and Creativity
A large, light-filled creative space at the Mill — open to staying guests as part of their stay, and available to book by the day for local artists and visitors who don't need a room.
The studio isn't a curated art experience. It's a working space with serious materials, good light, and enough room to spread out. Come with a project in mind or come with nothing — both are fine.
What's in the studio-
Painting and drawing
Papers, canvases, palettes, paints of all kinds, pigments and dyes. Easels set up and ready to use.
Sculpture and making
Sculpting tools and materials, a sewing machine, and workspace for hands-on making.
Music
Drum kit, guitar, keyboard and harp and more. The space is large enough that you won't disturb the rest of the house.

If you're staying at the Mill, the studio is yours to use during opening hours— 9:00-17:00. No booking needed, no extra charge.
For day visitors
Open to non-guests
You don't need to stay overnight to use the studio. Day bookings are available for local artists, creatives, and anyone who needs a proper space to work. Get in touch to check availability and rates.
The studio sits within a lived-in family home. There are animals around — a dog, cats, and chickens outdoors. It's a creative space in the truest sense: real, a little imperfect, and full of great light.
Rates:
Half day (Up to 4 hours)- €45
Full day (Up to 8 hours)- €75
Studio bookings are paid in full at the time of booking. Cancellations made 7 or more days before your booking date are fully refunded.
